INDIANAPOLIS - New Artist Debuts Old Pieces on Mass Ave
What’s hiding in your jewelry box? Family pieces you know you’ll never wear but can’t throw away?
Strings of beads you used to love but now loathe?
Indianapolis based artist, Allison Luthe, of King’s Crystals can help. Allison specializes in redesigning
old jewelry into fabulous, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces that make both a fashion and social statement.
These pieces make fashion statements while recycling items and keeping them out of landfills.
All bracelets, necklaces and earrings start with a sterling silver base and are accented with hand-made
pendants, Swarovski crystals, unique beads and charms to become WEARABLE art!
Jill Ditmire, owner of Mass Ave Wine Shoppe commissioned Allison to redesign some of her old jewelry
into wine glass and wine bottle decorations. “I had some outdated and broken jewelry that I used to LOVE
but didn’t wear anymore, and Allison was able to recycle it and help me share it with others,” said
Ditmire. Wine bottle decorations will sell for about $5.99 at the wine shoppe.
Check out some of the beautiful jewelry pieces online at www.kingscrystals.com, including hand-cut
sterling silver pendants and cuff bracelets. These silver pieces can be purchased or special ordered at
Eye Candy on Mass Avenue downtown. Private appointments are also available. Allison designs the
jewelry pieces in her home-based studio south of Broad Ripple.
